Rock Justice (DVD) - Directed by Marty Balin

While this performance has been in the vault for 25 years, I'll bet that this story will be resurrected for generations to come.
Marty Balin's classic Rock and Roll Musical-Rock Justice is now available on DVD. Recorded live in 1979 at the Old Waldorf, San Francisco this release features a stellar cast, a kick ass band and lots of zany action! Click here to listen a to few musical excerpts.

This is a story drawn from Marty Balin's real life experiences and satirizes the music industry and the Legal system simultaniously. Most of the story unfolds on stage where the singer (Jesse Bradman from Night Ranger and Eddie Money) finds himself in a nightmarish rock and roll courtroom. His crime-the failure to write a hit single.

Marty directed and wrote many of the songs on this DVD but only appears in a cameo. The cast is from many seminal SF Bands such as Y&T, The Tubes, Rox, The Rubinoos and The Nuns. This is a wonderful performance, I have watched it several times and still keep finding more antics! This is funny, sad, ironic and will make you somewhat angry with the antagonists (which is a good thing).
